“Today is the first day of the rest of your life…” How many times have you heard or read this? Of course it’s the first day of the rest of your life. It’s always the first day of the rest of your life, as is each succeeding day, for so long as you take a breath. What an astounding revelation!!
What of the tens of millions whose lives end? World statistics declare that approximately 153,400 people die every day, or about fifty-six million a year! For those who are aware they are dying, wouldn’t such a statement be thoughtless and cruel?
What of the billions who struggle daily to keep food on the table for their families, while both juggling to live from paycheck to paycheck and seeking another day of employment?
What possible significance could this bromide hold for these poor souls, other than the knowledge that life will indeed end and, for many, this could be seen as a blessing?
What of the untold billions who are held captive to sin, enslaved by a myriad of addictions: sexual, alcoholism, gambling, drugs, even serial murder and rape? Is it conceivable that these people are so consumed as to prevent them from seeing beyond each day?
We often hear such sayings as, “It’s a great life!” “Life is a just a bowl of cherries!” Ooh! Here’s my favorite: “Life’s a bitch, and then you die!”
I just recently learned that 800,000 children disappear every year in this country! That equates to roughly 2,000 children per day! Of this, only 115 were taken by strangers! The overwhelming majority of them were taken by family members!!
How sad is it when you can’t even trust your own family? Kinda gives new meaning to the saying, “blood of my blood, bone of my bone…”
What of the children that don’t mysteriously disappear, but are battered and beaten and bruised and sexually abused by members of the family; a father, brother, uncle, cousin and, even more disturbingly, by the mother? And what of the infants found in trash dumpsters?
Historically, in this nation, what of those children only eight and ten years old who shot strangers just to watch them die? And what of that six year old boy who stole his dad’s gun, took it to school, and then shot a four year old girl to death?
And the beat goes on…
Every 98 seconds an American is sexually assaulted in this country. On average, there are, yearly, 321,000 victims of sexual assault, ages 12 years or older. This equates to one out of every six women having been a victim of rape or its attempt.
Of the approximate 63,000 children in this country that are sexually assaulted, eighty percent were assaulted by their parents: 47,000 by their dads, 5,000 by their moms, the remaining being relatives, siblings or strangers.
These statistics are obviously not written in concrete, but are reliable enough to be very disturbing. Even for the millions and millions of those who view the Bible as just a bunch of nice fables, denying we are all born in sin, their view of humanity is even more disturbing than what the Bible has to say!
If we are not slaves to a sin nature, as the Bible states, then we are even more evil and despicable than what the Bible has to say of us. The notion that our behaviors are only explainable by individual, calculated, cold-blooded, willful choices is horrifying!
A bowl of cherries?
In the year 2015, this nation voluntarily surrendered $3,248,723,000,000 to a band of criminal thieves, the Internal Revenue Service!
This in light of the ugly facts that there are about four million children, women and men without food and a place to live in “the land of the free and home of the brave.” There are also approximately 160,000,000 people, one out of every two, who are deep in the clutches of poverty!
And what of the three and one half billion souls, half the population of the world, who have nothing more to look forward to than another day of starvation, with no water, no food, no sewage or a place to lay their heads?
Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Really?
How do we wrap our minds around a government so totally corrupt and evil that 146 years ago, in 1871, Congress then joined forces with the big corporate bankers and moguls. They then passed a law that changed the United States of America to the United States, Incorporated!
You read it right. We have been a corporation, a business, for 146 years. As with all corporations, we are owned, lock, stock and barrel.
Today, there are just thirteen families in the world who possess and control more wealth than that of half the world’s population! They own us! One of these families, the Rothschilds, possess over five hundred trillion dollars in gold bullion!
Now, just what is a trillion dollars? Well, it’s a million million. It’s a thousand billion. If it were physically possible to place one trillion one dollar bills atop one another, it would reach 67,866 miles into outer space! This one family, the Rothschilds, “owns” over five hundred times that!
This family “owns” the Federal Reserve, thanks to the likes of such ilk as Woodrow Wilson who, in 1913, made the private control and ownership of our nation’s currency possible.
Every piece of green toilet paper we call money floats from those printing presses and is loaned to “we the people,” at interest. We pay this interest with the same fraudulent currency, thus COMPOUNDING the debt!
A great life? For WHOM?
This government, with the insidious cooperation of millions of its citizenry, those who voluntarily go over seas and wantonly kill people they don’t even know, because they were told it is the “right thing to do,” are responsible for approximately 82 million deaths around the world, beginning with:
American Revolution: 52,000? (Only a rough guestimate)
War of 1812: 30,000? (No good numbers)
Civil War: 600,000
Spanish-American War: 10,000? (Nobody really knows)
WWI: 16 million
WWII: 58 million
Korea: 2.7 million
Vietnam: 4.7 million
First Gulf War: 20,000 to 200,000, there is still some dispute about the number of Iraqis who died.
Current Iraq war: 50,000 (some estimates range up to 650,000 – this is very controversial right now).
Be proud, America!
So the total is something like 82 million human lives. Many of these were people not even on the battlefield! (This information is furnished by the UCSB Science Line)
And the beat goes on…
Since September 11, 2001 until present day, there have been more citizenry brutalized and killed in this nation by so-called “peace officers,” cops, than during this same time period in Iraq!
It is estimated that there are about 17,000 murders that occur in the United States each year. But of course it would be terribly presumptive of us to assume that the people killed by “law enforcement” officers should be lumped into this statistic.
Why, they are hardly murderers. They were just doing their duties. At the very least, this is all just a huge “misunderstanding” and should be viewed as “justifiable” homicides. But of course…
And what of September 11, 2001? The “9/11 Commission Report” and the “National Institute of Standards and Technology, NIST” still insist to this day that those two buildings, the World Trade Center, North and South Towers, as well as Building Number 7, fell because of fire.
There has never been a building in the history of skyscrapers that collapsed because of any type of fire, including that of burning jet fuel.
To melt steel, the temperature has to be at least 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. Burning jet fuel is 1000 degrees Fahrenheit. Clearly, these buildings were not engulfed in flames, yet molten steel was found at the base of these buildings for weeks following September 11!
And then there is the problem of Building 7, a 47 story building about a hundred yards adjacent to the WTC buildings. This building was not hit by any aircraft, yet collapsed late in the afternoon exactly as the other two buildings, straight down on their own footing, all three falling in less than 10 seconds.
Over three thousand people lost their lives that day for lies designed to have us believe we are being attacked by terrorists, people who are a danger to our security, our lives and our country.
This is so true, but these crimes were not orchestrated by outside forces. Rather, they are the result of criminals within this criminal government who would have us believe we are under attack by outsiders, ISIS, Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda.
This would give the government the excuse to create laws that would enable tyranny. One such law is the “Patriot” Act…
It is said there are about one and a half to two million times a year, in this country, when a violent crime occurs that is stopped because the victims happened to have had a gun!
Yet, there isn’t a day that passes without some damned political ass declaring how much safer we would all be, were guns removed and destroyed in this country. Safer for whom, the politicians or the criminals? Did I just make a “Freudian Slip?”
Interestingly, nearly 1.3 million people die in road crashes each year, on average 3,287 deaths a day! An additional 20-50 million are injured or disabled! Where is the clamor and hysteria to remind us of just how horribly dangerous are automobiles?
Oh, but of course we are occasionally reminded that driving is a “privilege.” Could this be a ruse cleverly designed to eventually control and restrict our rights to move about freely?
The evidence is out there. Do the research. You owe it to you and your loved ones. The question again needs to be asked: who will protect us from our “protectors?”
Whilst in the throes of contemplating my navel and the sound of one hand clapping, it occurs to me that “Life’s a bitch and then you die” hardly does justice in describing the horrors of this life.
Stephen King, Edgar Alan Poe and Bram Stoker could not even begin to write horrors remotely approaching that of this life. And here’s the rub: we are damned if we do, damned if we don’t!
Existentially, if we indeed are absolutely free of the curses of sin, free to choose our destinies, while all about us are the horrors of rape, murder, war, sexual assaults, and child abuse, then how is this any better an explanation of our lives than that of what the Bible has to say?
From what I see, there are so many variables stacked against man’s survival, financially, spiritually and physically, I would say the odds are very similar to that of the casinos in Las Vegas. The big difference obviously being, those odds won’t kill you…
